Reporting
The Micro:bit Educational Foundation will have Community Organisers at any space or event they are directly responsible for, and at many partner events; their role is to support the community at events, online or virtual spaces and through all activities. The Community Organiser will record and action any breach of the code of conduct and may remind or support community members to work in a supportive manner. If you are at an event or online, Community Organisers will be introduced where possible. They may be wearing T-shirts or badges indicating that they are a team member of the Foundation and a Community Organiser.
If you witness or are concerned about behaviour of a community member, please contact the community organiser in your space or at your event, or report via safeguarding@microbit.org with your concerns as soon as possible.
If you are concerned about the behaviour of a Foundation team member, or you have concerns around a decision made in the reporting process, please report via reporting@microbit.org. This will report your concern to the Safeguarding Lead and Board Member focal point for Safeguarding, outside of the regular team. Your report will be kept confidential.
